I’ve had this saved to my drafts for way too long, so it’s now or never! But I love it so much, and here it is.
I’m excited to finally share about my Sewlala Neve Tee! I made the sweater version last year, and I love the fit. The pattern is so versatile, and I’m hoping to make the zip-up version eventually too.
I made view C (the t-shirt view) in size 12 (closest to my waist and hip measurements). I didn’t add any length because the length is good where it’s at for me.
I used the neckline of view B because I wanted it to be more of a crew neck like my inspiration (below). Since I wasn’t using ribbing, I recalculated the neckband length. I’ve found that 85% of the length of the neckline is usually a great length for the neckband. So, I cut my neckband 20″ long.
I love the color of this fabric and it’s the cotton jersey in the color Raspberry from Style Maker Fabrics.
I’ve made a few drop-shoulder tees in the past, and I really like them, but this pattern just checked different boxes and felt a little more my style right now. The fit was also very close to the inspiration photos from my Pinterest board. I love the way they look tucked in.

What do you think? This is one of my favorite makes from the past few months, and I wear it all the time. I even wore it a few days after taking blog photos and felt really cute, so I snapped a picture to add to this post (above).
Thanks for reading and happy sewing!

Sharing Joy:
I made my perfect Sommar Camisole a couple of days ago! I used leftover fabric from my Roxie Tee. The fabric is so bright and amazing, and I had the perfect amount of fabric leftover. It was a sign. I wore it all day and it was so much more comfortable that my first Sommars that were too tight and low for my preference. I updated the blog post with my adjustments at the very end, and I also added it to Threadloop, so if you’re interested you can choose wherever you’d like to read.

It’s so fun to read your posts. I like you in the dropped shoulder t shirt. Good choice!
Thanks Grandma! I’m so glad you enjoy reading them. 🥰
Very cute! Which pattern did you use for the denim shorts you’re wearing with the tee?
Thanks Yvette! The shorts are the Pomona Pants and Shorts by Anna Allen. I’ve had them for years now and I love them!
