Today I am grateful for a handy husband. Today alone, he has fixed the car and my cookie baller!
I am so proud of him and the skills he is always learning at work and on his own. His drive to be so productive has definitely had an impact on me for the better.
Last week we spent about $300 to get our car fixed, and then the next day our car locks, the inside car light, the brake light, and our windshield wipers quit working. Thankfully there is Google, and Dallas found out that it was a computer chip in the fuse box. A new one costs $180, but Dallas found one for $20!!
It came within days, and after fixing it on his lunch break, everything works again! Tender mercies, people.
Then I was making cookies for a ward activity and suddenly my cookie baller went all wonky and wouldn’t work. So I gave it to Dallas and trusted he would fix it. Within 5 minutes he had it fixed!
I was on the phone with my Mom when he gave it back to me so I said, “He fixed it!!”
Dallas response, “I can fix anything with a multi-tool!”
Thank goodness for handy husbands who fix things and save us money every once in a while. 🙂
