Long Beach Vacation by Dallas Hall. Make sure you watch it in HD. It will look much better. 🙂
At the beginning of this trip, we didn’t really have any plans on where to go or what to do all week. We just had a list of attractions that were close we went from there.
We went to three different beaches: Corona Del Mar, Huntington Beach, and of course Long Beach. We ate out once a day, and our favorite place that we ate was called Octopus. It’s a Japanese restaurant with great food and sushi, and it was only like three blocks from where we were staying!
We loved walking around Naples. It’s a cool little community with canals that make it look like Venice. There was hardly anyone there when we went, but it was so cool to see the houses there and some of these people have serious green thumbs. Everything there was so pretty.
We went to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s for the first time! Whole foods was pretty cool, but Trader Joe’s was definitely my favorite.
We went to the LA Fabric District where they sell fabric super cheap! I didn’t buy anything over $3 a yard. My favorite place was Micheal Lavine Loft where they sold fabric by the POUND! All together I spent about $50, and I estimated that I got about 25 yards of fabric. When I run out of fabric, I guess we’ll have to go back!
We went to the New Port Temple, and it is seriously gorgeous there! Their temple grounds are amazing, and we were so glad we were able to go.
On Thursday, I went to free Yoga on the Bluff! There were probably about 50 people there, and it was just on the grass next to the beach. We found it on Meetup, and I knew I had to go.
Those were the main parts of our trip and we loved it! The place we stayed at was amazing, and if you want more information about it, I wrote a post all about it here.
Let me know if you guys have any questions and have a great rest of your week!
This looks like such a fun vacation! I'm glad you had such a good time!
