After coming back from California, we pretty much craved fish tacos… Well, Dallas did. I don’t like fish very much, but ever since we made them like this, I crave them like every day.
Yes, we did by the pre-made fish fillets. How else did you think they were going to be easy??
What really makes them good is the baja sauce (a little spicy, but I ate it and I’m a total spice wimp). Oh, and the lime. Whatever you do, don’t skip the lime.
Baja Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 1/2 cup chipotle mayo
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- Juice from half of a lime
Directions
Add chipotle mayo and yogurt to a small container and mix. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Fish Tacos
Ingredients (dependent on how much you put on each tortilla)
- Crispy baked fish fillets
- Tortillas
- Tomato
- Onion
- Shredded lettuce
- Shredded cheese
- Lime
- Sour cream
- Baja Sauce (recipe above)
Directions
Cook fish fillets in 9×13 pan in the oven according to the box directions. *If you want to skip the mess and not have the fish fillets stick to the pan, use parchment paper! It is my lifesaver.
Load everything on your tortilla and enjoy!!
