My parents have this giant window above their front door and I took this picture through it last weekend when we were there for Thanksgiving (and my birthday!). Killer view, right??
Today was a very stressful day towards the end of it, and my angel husband made me dinner and helped me edit photos for my photography class, because sometimes I just can’t stop crying.
Even though I want to quit my classes two weeks before the semester is over and drop all of my classes I’m signed up for next semester, I still have plenty of things to be grateful for today.
Today I am thankful that we have two cars. We don’t drive mine very often, but on days like today when we needed to take Dallas’ into the shop, it’s nice to have another car so that we don’t have to walk all over town in the freezing cold, or worse, not be able to get it fixed. I know a lot of college students who don’t have that luxury.
I’m also grateful for Christmas lights, and a window to put my Christmas tree up in this year! (I’m convinced that they made Thanksgiving and Christmas in the winter so that people had something to be happy about in the miserable cold months of the year.) But I’m glad because one of my favorite things is seeing Christmas trees in windows of houses. If you drive down our street, we are the only house with a string of lights hung on our railing… yay for being festive!
Ok… Now I should stop procrastinating homework.
What are you grateful for today? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
Today I am grateful for a great Thanksgiving weekend with family. We were so blessed to be able to see all our siblings and our parents and grandparents. And we found out that both Kelsey and Maben's sister, Casey are having babies in June! So exciting!
Also, I am grateful for online shopping. 🙂 I love that I can accomplish most of my Christmas shopping from my house. It is the best.
No way!! That's exciting for Kelsey and Casey!! 🙂 I'm so glad you got to see everyone. Thanksgiving is the best for that reason.
And amen to online shopping (aka Amazon Prime). haha
