Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars

Don’t feel like spending $2.50 on a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups? I don’t blame you!

This is yet another recipe that I have been making since I was 9 years old, and they are SO easy!! You could you make them in like 5 minutes if you didn’t really feel like waiting for the chocolate on top to harden…Which is really hard to wait for, so I totally understand.

So do yourself a favor. Get these ingredients at the store or out of your pantry and treat yourself this weekend!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. gram crackers, crushed
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or melting chocolate

Directions
Mix together crushed gram crackers, peanut butter, and melted butter in a bowl. Add powdered sugar and mix until it all sticks together into a big dough ball (you may have to use your hands). Mash peanut butter mixture in a 9×9 or 9×13 pan, depending on how thick you want the bars to be. Pour and spread melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture in the pan.

Place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes or until chocolate is hardened. Enjoy!!

  1. These are the BEST! I remember the first time I tried them when you made them for a track trip, and I pretty much fell in love with them. Also, I am pretty sure they are half the reason Maben married me. 😉 I definitely need to make them SOON.

    1. Haha! I'm so glad you still make them, Sky! I'm glad to know that graduation cookbook is getting put to good use! I made these for Dallas for the first time last week (what?!), but now I'm pretty sure he's going to have me make them every week now for forever.
